This weekend is a BIG meet! We are swimming against the Travis Country Sharks + TSD Sea Rangers + Hays at the Hays pool! It is an 8-lane pool, so it should go pretty quickly!

The theme is “World Cup”… we want to see those jerseys! If you don’t have a jersey… purple will always match the theme!

6:15 am gates open for tent set-up

READY BENCH will be located at the main entrance to the building

TIMERS will be just outside the swimmer exit door

Stroke & Turn will be on deck at the turn end (10&u starting end)

SPECTATING AND THE POOL DECK

We want to give everyone a chance to watch kiddos race, which will mean we want to try and keep the pool deck clear of chairs. Spectators can set up chairs and shade on the front and back lawns, or sit in the bleachers behind the building. NO CHAIRS WILL BE ALLOWED ON DECK

There will be designated STANDING ROOM ONLY spectator space on the parking lot side of the pool deck. There will be limited bleacher seating for spectators with mobility issues there, as well.

CONCESSION:

Hays will have concessions on-site, but they are usually very limited. Hot dogs are confirmed, and Kona Ice. Cash and Venmo accepted. Please plan on bringing extra food and feed your kids before they come because we are not sure what breakfast items they will have available for purchase.

Ready Bench Info: Depending on the final swimmer count, we will determine 1 or 2 ready benches, more likely 2. The primary ready bench will be at the main entrance to the pool, under canopies. We have a second ready bench, it will be at the opposite corner of the building outside. The first bench will be for the 10 & under, and the second will be for 11 & over, plus relays.

BLOCKS:25s and 2nd/4th relay swimmers for 10&u will start from the pool's edge (4ft depth) at the opposite end – no blocks. 11 and over will be permitted to use the blocks.

The Hays team uses Meet Mobile.
