SAAB Swim Practices
June 1st - June 18th, 2026 (SUMMER SCHEDULE)
Monday Afternoons (No Morning Practices)
- 9-10 Years Old - 4:30-5:15 pm
- 7-8 Years Old - 5:15-6:00 pm
- 6 & Under - 6:00-6:30 pm
- 11-12 Years Old - 6:30-7:15 pm
- 13 and up - 7:15-8:00 pm
Tuesday through Thursday mornings (No Afternoon Practices)
- 6 & Under - 8:00-8:45 am
- 7-8 Years Old - 8:45-9:30 am
- 9-10 Years Old - 9:30-10:15 am
- 11-12 Years Old - 10:15-11:00 am
- 13 & Older - 11:00 am-11:45pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday NIGHT 9-10 pm (only 13& up ONLY)

About The Barracudas
The South Austin Area Barracudas are a recreational summer swim team and are members of The Capital City Summer League. Our goal is to have fun while learning correct swim techniques and the value of good sportsmanship and attitude. Our inaugural season was 2005 and we have approximately 250-300 swimmers each season. Practices are Monday-Thursday with meets on Saturdays beginning early in the morning at various local neighborhood pools. We cannot run successful meets without our phenomenal parents! Parent participation and volunteerism is mandatory for a successful season.
