Howdy folks! Y'all know the drill by now. SIGN those youngsters up for this upcoming meet because the neighboring ranch, the Stingrays, will be swimming at dawn with us Saturday morning July 31st! These Cowboy Cuda's know this town ain't big enough for the two of us, so wrangle up your western wear and get ready for a boot scoot'n good time at our home watering hole! 

Snake alive it's gonna be hot enough to sunburn a horned toad... so don't forget the sunscreen!

MEET TIMELINE

5:45- Set up crew - Barn raisers!

6:25 - Zoo Keeper Check in

6:35- SWIMMERS Check in

6:45 – 7:15am – Warm-ups for Cowboy Cuda's

7:15 – 7:45am – Warm-ups for Stingrays

7:30am – Volunteer Meetings (see Volunteer Locations and Pool Layout below)

7:50am – Call for Event #1 swimmers – verbal

7:55am – First heat on the blocks

7:58am – National Anthem

8:00am – Meet begins

VOLUNTEER MEETING LOCATIONS:

Timers – inside the Amenity Center Barn (will include demo of wireless timing system)

Stroke & Turn Judges, Scribes, and Runners – near the baby pool horse trough

Ready Bench – under awning of Amenity Center Bar, near the large watering hole

Heat Ribbons/Ribbons – near computers (watering hole deck)

Hospitality – at the Hospitality table, near the grain Silo

PARKING: The Pool/Amenity Center parking lot will be closed for safety reasons and available only for handicapped parking. Main parking is available along the streets – specifically Gatling Gun Lane, Warwick, and Buckingham Gate. Parking also is available in the Baranoff School House lot across Gatling Gun Lane.

ZOOS: Please bring a chair or a bail of hay, snacks, and LOTS of drinks in their canteen for your young whipper snappers... its going to be a hot one! Also, bring bug spay because we have been seeing more mosquitos. Don't forget to please label EVERYTHING!

We will also be doing FLYOVER STARTS for all swimmers 11 and up.

SPECTATORS: Spectators are allowed to view from the pool deck from Baby pool side ONLY (Little Blue Rectangle seen in the picture). No parent spectators on the ready bench side of the pool. Please do not crowd the timers or cross over behind the starting swimmers. We need to keep the Amenities Center cleared for moving swimmers from the Ready Bench to pool. Please no chairs on the deck as they end up blocking the movement of swimmers and spectators. There is space around the outside of the pool fence on the east and west sides to view from as well.

PEOPLE TRAFFIC FLOW: The Entrance for swimmers and volunteers is the gate at the north (parking lot-facing) side of the pool ONLY. Parents are not supposed to enter through the swimmer entrance, this is for youngsters only. To Exit the pool area use the east (street-facing) side at the walk-through gate. Please see the Pool Layout below. Swimmers and badged volunteers only through the parking lot gate.

CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available at the Gazebo adjacent to the parking lot (north of the pool). We will have coffee, breakfast taco, other refreshments, and lunch concessions including BBQ pork cowboy sliders.

Don't forget to hitch those wagons and wrangle those kids into their jammers and suits because we are gonna to have root'n toot'n good time and serve up some wins!
