The Dolphins are very excited to welcome us to their pool on Saturday, May 18^th for a fun day of racing – it is going to be a great meet. Attached is a map of the pool layout.

Pre-Meet Timeline:

6:00 - Set up Crew

6:55 am Check-In for Zoo volunteers

7:00 am Check-In for ALL Zoos (swimmers)

6:50 – 7:20 Western Oaks Warm-ups

7:20 – 7:50 SAAB Warm-ups

7:25-7:30 Volunteers must check in at the SAAB table with Ami

7:30 Volunteer Meetings (locations listed below)

7:50 Events 1- 4 to the ready bench

7:55 Event 1 / Heat 1 to the starting "blocks"

7:57 Opening Remarks and National Anthem

8:00 Meet begins

Pool: The pool is located at 5001 Woodcreek Blvd. Austin,TX 78749. The pool has 5 lanes and is 25 yards long and 3.5 feet deep on the shallow end.

Parking: There are 2 options for Parking

1. Parking is available in the West lot (and West lot only) of St. Catherine's of Siena Church located at 4800 Convict Hill Rd Austin, TX 78749 (map attached). The pool is just a short 1/10 of a mile walk across a field from the back of the parking lot, just head towards the playground and tennis courts! Please do not park in the East lot or you may be towed -- that is reserved for church functions. Please obey all parking rules and regulations including fire lanes and handicap parking spaces. We have no access to the church buildings or restrooms.
2. Street parking is available within the neighborhood. Please be kind to the neighbors and do not block driveways. Beware of fire hydrants and marked crosswalks as some vehicles have been ticketed in the past.

Option 1 is really the best option for parking.

Please try to write your child's name and events on their back before arriving. Don't forget snacks, chair, towel, and lots of water/Gatorade for your swimmer. Also, bug repellent is always a good idea to bring along. 

Timing: They use the Dolphin Wireless timing system integrated with Meet Maestro. There will be 2 Dolphin timers along with one manual stopwatch for each lane.

Results: We will be using Meet Maestro for this meet. If you would like to follow the meet live and see results, you will need a Pro Subscription to the SwimTopia App. Printed results will be posted on a white board near the Dolphin Diner.

Meet Time: Meet will start at 8:00am. No deck entries or last-minute changes to heat sheets will be allowed except in the case of computer entry error that needs to be corrected. Please communicate any changes in relay participants to the computer table as soon as they are known any time prior to or immediately after the event.

Volunteer Meetings: On deck meetings begin at 7:30

Timers & Runners: Meet under the canopy near the pool house and restrooms

Stroke and Turn Judges, Scribes, DQ runners: Meet at the 11 and up Ready Bench near the computer table.

Ready Bench: Meet at the 10 and Under Ready Bench under the large shade structure on the East end of the pool, opposite end of the pool from the restrooms

Awards/Ribbons: Meet at the computer table

Volunteer Shift Change will take place between event #38 (Men's 15-18 Freestyle Relay) and event #39 (Girls 6 and under Freestyle)

Concessions: The Dolphin Diner will be serving both breakfast and lunch during the meet, plus snacks, candy and cold drinks. The Diner accepts cash, Apple Pay, G-pay, Visa, MC, Amex, Discover, cash-app, JCB and UnionPay.
